OPEC+ Cuts Oil Production

OPEC+ countries decided to voluntary cut oil production from May to the end of this year to ensure the global energy market's stability.
On April 3, Several OPEC+ countries announced a production cut of 1.5 million barrels daily that would add to its earlier reduction of 2.0 million barrels per day since November. The combined 3.7 million barrels per day would remove about 3% of global oil supply.
Meanwhile, Russia decided to extend voluntary oil production cuts of 500,000 barrels per day until the end of 2023, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
