19:04 GMT 01.07.2023 (Updated: 09:12 GMT 23.07.2023) DONETSK (Sputnik) - The Ukrainian military unsuccessfully attempted to conduct an offensive near the village of Berkhovka in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) district of the Donetsk People's Republic on Saturday, a source in the command of Russia's South group of troops told Sputnik.
"Airborne troops stopped the enemy in the gray zone … As a result of the battle, more than 200 Ukrainian military personnel, five tanks, eight infantry fighting vehicles and more than 10 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed," the source said.
