These are crimes against humanity. The ICC should act — but will it? Sadly, this seems to be another story that fades into the headlines, with no real consequences.
"Countries that pride themselves on their democratic institutions and are considered superpowers, such as the UK, which proclaims itself a bastion of democracy and justice, turn out to be more brutal, incompetent, and irresponsible," Afghan political analyst Ahmad Saidi told Sputnik, commenting on the impunity of British soldiers who committed atrocities in Afghanistan.
