MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian armed forces are continuing to strike drone launch sites, ports and maritime vessels used by the Ukrainian forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"During the day, the Russian armed forces continued striking unmanned aerial vehicles launch sites, as well as ports and maritime vessels used in the interests of the Ukrainian military," the ministry said in a statement.
Up to 40 vehicles carrying long-range UAV launchers were destroyed by the Iskander missile strikes near the town of Borispol in the Kiev region, the ministry added.
Along with that, a dry-cargo ship delivering weapons and military equipment to Ukraine was hit in port of Chernomorsk, the statement said, adding that seven fuel tanks and port infrastructure objects used for military cargo were also struck in Chernomorsk.
