Russian UN Envoy Blasts Kiev's 'American Masters' For Tacitly Fueling Conflict

UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) - On Thursday, Russia's UN Permanent Representative Vassily Nebenzia addressed the Security Council.

The US should instruct its 'vassals' in Kiev to end the conflict in Ukraine, the Russian envoy said.

"For this war to end, the American masters must give orders to their vassals. The absence of such signals and orders indicates only one thing: the United States has no need or desire to end the conflict, but has an appetite for its continuation and anticipates when Russia will be defeated, preferably (in the US interpretation) strategically. I want to tell you that that isn't going to happen," Nebenzia said.

Kiev has no weapons of its own left, and even though Kiev is gambling on Ukraine's mobilization reserve, this will run out, Russia's UN Permanent Representative emphasized.

"Ukraine is now able to fight only with weapons supplied by NATO countries, there are practically no others. Ukraine has no weapons of its own. But there are still some Ukrainians, which have been sent into battle like lambs to the slaughter as part of the so-called counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Kiev regime's mobilization reserve has not yet run out, however, everything is heading in that direction.

Vassily Nebenzia laced into Western envoys at the UN Security Council for being disgruntled that the mutiny attempt in Russia had failed.
"Today, some of you attempted to bring up last week's events in Russia. Some of you were visibly disgruntled over the fact that the events did not go according to the way you liked and did not snowball into sedition in Russia, and had no chance of snowballing into sedition, as we now understand. Although you and your flunkies in Kiev were hoping for that, watching the developments on the edge of your seats," Nebenzia said.
The envoy also pointed out that Russia has no intention of blowing up the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as explained in a letter calling on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to compel Kiev to abstain from provocations.

"We do not intend to blow up this nuclear power plant, we have no intention of doing so. In our letter, we call on the UN Secretary-General and the international community to influence Kiev, compelling it to abstain from provocations at the Zaporozhye facility," Nebenzia said during a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday.

The Russian mission sent the letter to all UN Security Council members earlier in the day.
Nevertheless, the Kiev regime continues with its incitement and false flags despite numerous UN Security Council meetings held at the request of Russia and despite the efforts of the International Atomic Energy Agency to ensure the nuclear station's safety and security at the behest of Russia, the letter said.
The aforementioned provocations are occurring amid Washington's recent congressional resolution considering any radioactive contamination in Ukraine as a reason to launch a political-military response by NATO - a move that would escalate the Ukrainian crisis to unprecedented levels, the letter cautioned.

The diplomat also stressed that the collective West has gotten out of touch with reality and is purposefully inciting a direct confrontation between the nuclear powers. "Having become completely detached from reality, the West is deliberately provoking a direct confrontation between nuclear powers," he said.
Russia's UN Permanent Representative pointed out that the chance for peace in Ukraine in the spring of 2022 was missed because of the US and the EU, so now the conditions for a settlement will be different for Kiev.
