Russian air defenses shot down six Ukrainian drones overnight over the Belgorod, Voronezh, and Lipetsk regions, the Russian Defense Ministry's press service said on Monday.
"Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks with aircraft-type drones against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled. On-duty air defenses destroyed one UAV over the territory of the Belgorod region, two UAVs over the territory of the Voronezh region, as well as three UAVs over the territory of the Lipetsk region," the statement said.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian territory, emphasized that Kiev continues terrorist activities, but that the Russian military is on alert and doing everything necessary.
