Downing of Russian Su-25 in Syria 

    On February 3, the Russian Defense Ministry said that a Su-25 might have been downed in Syria’s Idlib province from a man-portable air-defense system. According to the ministry, the pilot ejected from the aircraft but was killed by militants on the ground.
