A series of blasts occurred in Sri Lanka on Sunday, hitting several churches and hotels in the country's capital Colombo and other cities. According to media reports, the attacks have claimed the lives of at least 185 people, while hundreds of others have been injured and hospitalised.

After the deadly blasts, the government introduced a temporary ban on social networks and messaging services, as well as a nationwide curfew from 18:00 to 06:00 local time.
