KIEV, May 11 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych has returned home from Spain, where he underwent knee surgery, the Ukrainian Cabinet said Friday.
The governmental press service reported that the operation would not hamper the premier's work, although he would have to avoid sports for the time being.
"He [Yanukovych] is felling well," the source said. "A rehabilitation program with a gradual load increase will be introduced, so that Viktor [Yanukovych] could resume regular sports exercises in two months."
Following a medical examination, Yanukovych underwent knee surgery in Barcelona May 8. The famous Spanish knee surgeon Ramon Cugat conducted a 40-minute operation on the Ukrainian premier's cartilage.
