A rehearsal of the Victory Day Parade, which will be held in Moscow on May 9, took place at the Alabino training grounds near the Russian capital.

The rehearsal involved the joint training of soldiers on foot and crews of military vehicles participating in the parade.

The participants will rehearse the parade on Red Square three times a week before the event.

Final rehearsals will be held in Moscow shortly before the parade.

Topol-M ballistic missile launchers, Iskander-M tactical missile launchers, T-90A main battle tanks, Tigr armored vehicles, and MSTA-S self-propelled guns will traditionally march on Red Square on May 9.

Russia’s air defenses will be represented by Pantsir-S1 short-range gun and missile air defense systems and the formidable S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems, which protect the airspace over the Russian capital.

The march pass will involve about 100 pieces of military hardware.

The length of the convoy of military vehicles to pass on Red Square is estimated at 1.5 kilometers.

The Victory Day parade involves more than 14,000 servicemen.

The rehearsals are held at a site near the village of Alabino, where there is a full-size replica of Red Square.
