The Siberian Craters are NOT Caused by UFOs

A mysterious 60-metre wide, 70 metre deep hole in the ground was photographed recently in the Yamal, which is in Russia’s far north, thousands of kilometres away from Moscow and St. Petersburg, but only 30 kilometres away from the highly productive Bovanenkovo gas field. The hole is unusual, if not unique, in that it has amazingly smooth sides, as if cut through like a knife through butter. It does not seem to be a meteorite crater. So what exactly is it? Marina Leibman, Doctor of geologic-mineralogic sciences, and chief scientist at The Earth Cryosphere Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, debunks the UFO theory and lays out some simple but realistic truths shared their opinions with the Voice of Russia.
