MOSCOW, August 4 (RIA Novosti) — The Voice of Russia needs new background music for its radio broadcasts. Send your samples (around 12 seconds, in mp3 format) to sound@rian.ru.
The deadline for submissions is August 29th. We are looking for interesting, original music. The authors of the best jingle samples will be hired to create the radio’s new musical style.
On December 9, 2013, President Vladimir Putin signed an executive order on the establishment of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency on the basis of RIA Novosti and through the incorporation of the Voice of Russia state radio broadcasting service. Dmitry Kiselev was appointed Director General of the new agency. Under the order, Rossiya Segodnya will focus on information support for Russian interests abroad and creating a positive image of Russia. Margarita Simonyan, Editor-in-Chief of TV news network RT (Russia Today), was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the new agency.
