MOSCOW, August 4 (RIA Novosti) - An Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) propaganda video entitled “Islamic State Caliphate Eid Greetings from the Land of Khilafah”, posted on Youtube, provided the first concrete evidence of a Finnish recruit.
“I’m your brother Abu Shu’ayb as-Somali here. I came from Finland. And right now we are living in the Islamic Caliphate. All I can say is that we are living with blessings here and you should come to the Islamic State. Formerly it was in Iraq and Sham but now we’ve announced the Khilafah and it will expand to the whole world by Allah’s permission. The rule of Shari’ah will even come to Finland. So I’m calling on all the Muslims living in the West, America, Europe and everywhere else to come, to make hijrah with your families to the land of Khilafah. And here you go for fighting and afterwards you come back to your families. And if you get killed then Alhamdulillah you’ll enter Jannah insha’allah, and Allah will take care of the ones you’ve left behind. So here the Khilafah will take care of you,” the Finnish recruit, Abu Shu’ayb as-Somali, preaches in the video.
The ISIS is an extremist Islamist group, fighting for control in parts of Iraq and Syria. Last month, they announced the creation of a caliphate, based on a literal interpretation of the Koran and renamed the group the Islamic State. The Islamic State’s agenda is to create a global Islamic state governed by Sharia Law.
“We can’t get free land with guns. Everyone can believe what they want. Myself I`d never want to have sharia in Finland because its so brutal for other human beings. But still I would like to live in the world where you have no pressures, coming from every direction. I don't like to see Finland, full of mosques and stupid things...Sharia would destroy Finland. It destroys everything. And what about womans? They have no rights under the sharia law. That is just idiotic! If here would not be any religions in this planet, earth would be wonderfull place to live [sic],” wrote a worried user named Radius740 in a comment, responding to the YouTube video.
According to security services, approximately 40 people have emigrated from Finland to Syria, but the number of immigrants, joining ranks of the Islamic State is currently unknown.
The video is approximately 20 minutes and, at the time of the writing this article, had received about 70,000 views.
