With the word, sanctions, creeping ever more into not only the news but everyday conversations, one sometimes feels we should ask if sooner or later world leaders might decide to ban the use of masterpieces by certain poets like Pushkin or for that matter composers as was the case during certain wars.
Julian Henry Lowenfeld who is not only a New York lawyer, but also a poet, translator and composer joins Estelle Winters and says, despite the rough relations between Russia and the US, sanctions included, he loves Pushkin and enjoys spending part of his life in Russia. He also recites his own translations of Pushkin in the studio.
