“Over 90 vehicles have arrived in Donetsk, carrying food supplies, building materials, medication,” the ministry representative said, adding that the same number of trucks laden with aid reached Luhansk.
The ministry representative said that the convoy had not faced any emergency situations while heading to Ukrainian southeastern regions.
“After the trucks are unloaded, they will head back to the Rostov region,” the ministry stated.
In total, the convoy has delivered over 1,400 tons of humanitarian aid to the Donbas region on Sunday.
This is the tenth convoy with Russian humanitarian aid which has arrived in the southeastern Ukraine since August.
Donetsk and Luhansk regions have been undergoing a severe humanitarian crisis since Kiev launched a military operation against local independence supporters in April.
