MOSCOW, January 13 (Sputnik) — The Pakistani prime minister's granddaughter will leave her school in Pakistan, news agency Khaama Press reported Tuesday.
The decision comes after Taliban militants promised to conduct more attacks similar to the December assault on a military school in Peshawar, northern Pakistan, which claimed the lives of almost 150 people, mostly children.
Nawaz said that her daughter will continue to study in Pakistan, denying rumors that she intended to send her to London, according to the news agency.

The Taliban claimed that its attack in Peshawar was taken in response to army operations against the group in Pakistan’s northwestern region of Waziristan. After the attack, Pakistan stepped up military operations against rebel groups in the country's northwest.
