Bomb Threat Puts Police Buildings in Australia’s Brisbane on Lockdown
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Police have used pepper spray against a group of students protesting in front of the Sydney Masonic Centre on Friday morning, where Australian Education Minister Christopher Pyne was giving a speech, ABC News reports.

The students chanted "no cuts, no fees, no corporate universities", according to ABC. Some of the protesters managed to get inside the Masonic Centre and were pepper-sprayed by police, who were trying to remove them from the building.

"This is not a police state, we have the right to demonstrate," the students chanted as they were escorted out.

One of protesters told ABC that "students are against his [Pyne's] higher education reforms" and that they are determined to continue their fight.

According to the protesters, more students plan to march out on March 25.
