"Our channels have already responded to requests from our society; the amount of outright propaganda coming from the country which has unleashed aggression against Ukraine has declined. Aggressive militaristic Russian series are being removed from the air. Therefore, we face a big challenge –to fill our television and radio with quality Ukrainian production of a varying character," Kyrylenko said in the statement.
The minister noted that "for its part, the government is ready to make efforts to organize the most comfortable working partnership with those channels that are ready to take responsibility upon themselves to change the broadcast environment in the aims of propagating our Ukrainian achievements." Kyrylenko noted that the government was willing to offer a limited variety of "financial incentives" to those channels and radio stations which would fill the airwaves with these pro-Ukrainian materials.
