RIGA (Sputnik) — The European Union and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) call on the warring parties in east Ukraine to provide full access to observers, Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders said Saturday.

"The OSCE's first demand is for all active parties on the ground to provide completely free access to monitors. Increasing the number [of observers] will have a positive impact, but first you need to grant access," Reynders said following an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers.
