MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The vice president told the broadcast network that soldiers disarmed his bodyguards and surrounded his residence.
Last week, Sam-Sumana was removed from the All Peoples Congress ruling party over allegations of forming a new rival political party and presenting a fraudulent Master's degree prior to the 2007 elections.
A week prior, the vice president went into a self-imposed 21-day quarantine following the death of one of his security guards from the Ebola virus.
