Giroux had been described as being in his early 30s or 40s with tattoos on his head and face. Police apprehended him after he was spotted on an apartment balcony and used a stun gun to subdue him.
Three people were wounded after an argument inside a motel room earlier Wednesday, according to Mesa police Detective Esteban Flores. Giroux then allegedly shot a person at a nearby restaurant, before wounding two more at separate apartment complexes, one during a home invasion, Fox News reported.
The incidents put much of the city on lockdown as police SWAT and canine teams searched for the suspect.
