Some 60 UK Women Join ISIL As Fears Grow Over British Teens Radicalization
ANKARA (Sputnik) — Parents of three UK schoolgirls who allegedly joined Islamic State (ISIL) militant group will come to Turkey in order to meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish leader's press service told RIA Novosti Thursday.

Last month, three East London schoolgirls reportedly traveled to Turkey and then crossed into ISIL-controlled areas of Syria. Last week, Turkish media reported that the girls’ parents will travel to Istanbul next week to ask Erdogan to help in the search for missing teenagers.

"We know about this situation, but the president has not made a decision on the meeting yet. It will be made in the near future,” the press service said.

Missing British Girls Spotted in ISIL Capital - Report
On Tuesday, British Prime Minister David Cameron said government programs focusing on de-radicalization of youth in the United Kingdom must be reconsidered since more teenage girls were converting to extremism in the country.

Last Friday, three young British males, intending to travel to Syria to join the ISIL, were detained at an airport in Istanbul.

The Islamic State jihadist group operating in Syria and Iraq is actively recruiting foreigners under its banners. According to British security force estimates, at least 600 people from Britain have joined the fundamentalist organization.
