The biannual exercise, dubbed Joint Warrior, is set to include over 50 ships and submarines, 70 aircraft and about 13,000 personnel from 14 different countries.
The alliance’s Standing Naval Forces will test their anti-air and anti-submarine warfare skills, and conduct anti-mine training.
Earlier in the week, the US Navy stated that the current Joint Warrior drill would be the biggest in the history of the exercise.
