MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow believes the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga will bring good results if the countries are not in a position of an “either or” decision, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Friday.
“The Russian Federation is convinced that a project of this kind could bring good results only if countries that are termed ‘focus countries’ in EU lingo are not offered false choices: you’re either with the West or with Russia,” Ryabkov told journalists.
He added that Moscow is following the summit closely.
