MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The two ministers will discuss joint foreign policy efforts as agreed between the two countries within the Union State of Russia and Belarus, according to the statement.
Lavrov and Makei will also discuss bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues, including the Ukrainian crisis.
"Today it is highly important that the Contact Group and working subgroups on finding resolution to the crisis in the country should work without failure," the statement said.
The two foreign ministers are also set to discuss relations with the United States and the European Union following the Eastern Partnership summit that was held in Latvia last month.
