Warner is alleged to receive the $10-million bribe from South Africa ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup while serving as FIFA vice president and president of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).
Warner also faces charges of racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering, but denies any wrongdoing.
The 72-year-old Trinidad and Tobago politician was one of the seven FIFA officials arrested on US warrants in Zurich, Switzerland last month. Overall, 14 world football figures were indicted on corruption charges by the US Justice Department.
The corruption case prompted long-time FIFA President Joseph Blatter to announce his resignation despite being reelected for a fifth term in office two days after the arrests.
