VIENNA (Sputnik), Daria Chernyshova, Anastasia Levchenko — Foreign minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif will hold a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday in Vienna, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Sputnik.
"Zarif and Lavrov will have bilateral [meeting] tomorrow. Time is not decided yet," Araghchi said.
Tuesday, June 30, is the final day before the deadline expires for Iran and the P5+1 to reach a final consensus on the Iranian nuclear program.
The work is still under way, and the deal is expected to be signed a few days after the deadline.
In April, Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators reached a political framework agreement in the Swiss city of Lausanne, which stipulates that Tehran cut back its uranium enrichment activities and decrease the number of centrifuges in exchange for sanctions relief.
