WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The CLC, a group of small businesses and associations, will direct Chamber advocacy and education efforts and serve as a key voice of industry for dialogue with policy makers, the release said.
CLC members include Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, the Boeing Company, and J.P. Morgan Chase.
On June 11, 2015, the Chamber of Commerce urged US Senators in a letter to vote for the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) to boost data sharing between private companies and the federal government in order to counter cybersecurity threats.
The US Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation representing the interests of more than three million businesses as well as state and local chambers and industry associations, according to its website.
