As part of its efforts to promote enhanced transparency among governments when negotiating international trade deals, WikiLeaks has released 17 documents relating to the behind-the- scenes proposals of the Trade In Services Agreement (TISA).

TISA has been labeled by WikiLeaks as "big brother" to the proposed Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement (TPP). It is currently being negotiated by the US, European Union and 23 other countries. The TISA deal has drawn criticism over potential impacts it may have on local businesses and small operators.

In this edition of Looking Forward, the hosts are joined by Dr Gary Clyde Hufbauer, senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and Deborah James, Director of International Programs at the Center for Economic and Policy Research – both from US — to debate the pros and cons of the deal.
