The Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday ratified a memorandum with Germany on a 500-million-euro loan to rebuild eastern Ukraine’s infrastructure.

KIEV (Sputnik) – According to the memorandum, the German government will guarantee the 500 million euros with an unbinding loan.

“Macrofinancial aid is set at 200 million euros, 300 million euros will be allotted to energy, infrastructure, utilities and other companies that provide for the living conditions in our regions,” Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko said.
