Greece owes some $270 billion to its major creditors — the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund and some eurozone nations.
On Monday, the leaders of the Eurozone countries agreed a new bailout plan that would allow Greece remain in the currency bloc and receive financial aid of up to $96 billion within the next three years in exchange for the implementation of strict austerity measures.
The Greek parliament has until the end of Wednesday to approve the agreement.
