MOSCOW (Sputnik) – At least five coaches of the Kamayani Express and the Janata Express plunged into the river near the town of Harda in the state of Madhya Pradesh late on Tuesday, according to the Indian Express.

The coaches in the Mumbai-Varanasi Kamayani Express and the Jabalpur-Mumbai Janata Express trains are said to accommodate 75 passengers each.

The outlet added that a relief train with doctors and paramedics was rushed to the accident site.

The authorities have not yet released casualty figures in the two derailments.
