Independence supporters from all around the world have gathered at an international anti-globalist conference "The dialogue of nations. The right of people to self-determination and building of the multipolar world" held in Moscow on Sunday.
"I think the US global political and economic predominance is about to collapse," Lanny Sinkin said.
According to Sinkin, Russia plays "a good role" in this process.
"The [United States] tries to isolate Russia and to put on sanctions, but they really can't do without Russia, so they are moving back to have relations with Russia," the Hawaiian representative said.
The relations between Russia and the United States have deteriorated over the crisis in eastern Ukraine, which escalated in 2014. The West, including the United States, blames Russia for its alleged interference in the conflict, which Moscow has repeatedly denied.
