MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, who will be in Moscow for the opening of a mosque in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
“There are contacts between the president and Abbas, who will be in Moscow for the opening of the mosque and there will be Russian-Palestinian talks,” Peskov told journalists, adding that the talks would be held toward the evening on Tuesday.
The mosque in Moscow is to open on September 23.
