KHARTOUM (Sputnik) — A delegation of Sudanese parliamentarians will arrive in Moscow at the end of September to take part in an international parliamentary forum, the head of the foreign relations committee of the parliament of Sudan, Mohammed Mustafa Daw, told Sputnik.
"The conference begins on October 1, and we will arrive in Russia on 29-30 of September. After the forum we will have several additional meetings," the lawmaker said.
He added that the visit will take place at the invitation of the speaker of the State Duma, Russia's lower house of parliament, Sergei Naryshkin.
The fourth International Parliamentary Forum will take place in Moscow on October 1. The forum, organized by the State Duma in conjunction with the Russian Foreign Ministry, will be devoted this year to the role of parliament in ensuring international security.
