WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – US police at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) have alerted their students to a possible gunman on the school’s Monroe Park campus less than a day after a deadly shooting in Oregon left 10 dead, US media reported on Friday.
ABC 8 News reported that a call came in around 10 a.m. about a male suspect in a military style hat and with a backpack headed to the university campus.
The VCU, Richmond, and Virginia State Police are all on the scene investigating, and asked to avoid the area if possible.
