MOSCOW (Sputnik) – An Israeli citizen was attacked Thursday with a knife in West Bank’s Kiryat Arba region amid the tensions between Palestinians and Israelis, the Israeli Defense Forces announced.
"Israeli civilian seriously injured in stabbing attack in Kiryat Arba. Forces searching area for assailant," the IDF said on Twitter.

Tensions from last month's clashes in the East Jerusalem Temple Mount complex, which houses the Al-Aqsa Mosque, considered the third holiest site in Islam, have continued into October.
