"At the end of October, a meeting of the Russian-Israeli intergovernmental commission will be held in Moscow," Goldman-Shayman said.
The commission is expected to be co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Israeli Minister of Immigrant Absorption and Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Zeev Elkin, the Israeli diplomat said.
In addition, the meeting is expected to bring together representatives of ministries and government agencies from both sides, Goldman-Shayman added.
"We have already started our work on the preparation to the event. We hope that it will be productive, and the meeting will be held in a positive atmosphere," he said.
On Thursday, Goldman-Shayman told Sputnik that Russia and Israel would also hold a military meeting in the near future in Moscow, mostly devoted to the ongoing crisis in Syria and bilateral coordination on the issue.
