David A. Clarke, Jr. describes himself as an NRA Endowment Member and Constitutional Sheriff, yet he runs on the Democratic ballot.
His website, thepeoplessheriff.com states, “I firmly believe law-abiding American citizens do not deserve to be treated as random statistics.”
Yet, apparently, those who fight to stop human beings from becoming one of the 983 people killed by police in 2015 are his enemies.
The terrifying thing about his statement is that if he sees protesters as terrorists, will he begin treating them as such? Will this “constitutional sheriff” halt the First Amendment in his city?

Clarke, recently made headlines by exciting Fox News viewers as he took to the airwaves to declare that police brutality and racism no longer exist.
Clark said on a recent episode of Fox and Friends:
"Well first of all, there is no police brutality in America. We ended that back in the '60s. So I don't know where they're coming from. You look at the data and the research, and there's a new Harvard study out that shows that there is no racism in the hearts of police officers. They go about their daily duty, if you will, to keep communities safe. The President of the United States knows better, he's playing the race game, he's playing race politics. Shame on him, he's been very divisive for this country. He has been a nightmare and I cannot wait until January 2017 so that America's nightmare can be over."
Much like in the tweet, the sheriff is quite fond of referring to the very serious movement against police brutality as “Black Lies Matter.”
"Show me the data, show me the research that demonstrates and supports that lie that law enforcement officers use an inordinate amount of force against black people. Black people use an inordinate amount of force against themselves and each other in the American ghetto. It is not true about the American police officer, and I'm not going to let anyone come on TV and advocate that," Clarke continued.
