MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Li Baodong will join the expanded Syrian crisis talks in Vienna on Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said during a press conference.
Officials from nine countries and the UN Special Envoy for Syria will discuss the settlement of the Syrian crisis in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Friday, as the talks on the issue enter their second day.
On Thursday, the top diplomats from the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey convened for the first round of talks.
