The Federal Service for Transport Supervision (Rostransnadzor) requested the airline to suspend A321 flights until Tuesday, November 3. Kogalymavia has been ordered to increase safety measures by the given deadline.
Flight 9268 disappeared from radars 23 minutes after takeoff in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh early Saturday. All 217 passengers and seven crew members on board were confirmed dead.
Rostransnadzor has launched an extraordinary inspection of Kogalymavia over its compliance with civil aviation laws.
