MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Moscow has repeatedly said that only Syrian people should decide on the fate of the country's president, Bashar Assad, as well as on the future leadership of the country, while Washington and its Middle Eastern allies have called for the resignation of Assad.
"At the end of the day, the issue is up to the Syrian people to decide who and what type of the leadership they have," the special envoy said.
The special envoy said that Syria could have a new constitution in the coming future, if the provisions of Geneva communique and Vienna communique were implemented.
