One of the attackers was 29-year-old Omar Ismail Mostefai, a resident of the conservative, predominantly ethnically French suburb of Courcouronnes. His father and older brother were taken into custody earlier by police, according to the Facebook page of Jean-Pierre Gorges, Mayor of the French city of Chartres.

The Serbian newspaper Blic reported in turn that another terrorist was identified as Ahmed Almuhamed. The 25-year-old allegedly arrived in Western Europe via Serbia, according to the newspaper.

Another terrorist was named by the French newspaper Le Figaro as Abbdulakbak B., who was born in 1990 and reportedly entered France through Greece.

Meanwhile, three people have been arrested in a Brussels counter-terrorism raid prompted by the attacks in Paris, local media reported.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel told RTBF later Saturday that one of the detainees may have been in Paris while the attacks were taking place.
On Friday night, eight extremists wearing explosive belts attacked several venues across Paris, killing 129 people at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France stadium.
