KIEV (Sputnik) – Incumbent Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko has secured his lead in the second round of elections after 100 percent of the ballots were counted, the capital’s election commission announced Monday.
According to the final, Klitschko garnered just over 65 percent of the popular vote. The second candidate, former press secretary for the extremist Right Sector organization Borislav Bereza garnered 33.5 percent.
