CyberBerkut Group Claims Kiev in Talks on Supplying Missiles to Qatar
18:59 GMT 21.11.2015 (Updated: 22:39 GMT 21.11.2015) A group of hackers referring to themselves as CyberBerkut said Saturday, citing alleged documents of the Ukrainian Ukroboronprom state defense conglomerate, that the company’s employees were in talks over supplies of the Pechora-2D missile systems to Qatar.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier media reports claimed that an extremist cell suspected of financing and arming ISIL terrorist group was purchasing arms in Ukraine. Kiev denied the reports, claiming it did not have weapons the media had listed.
According to the documents leaked by CyberBerkut, the Qatar's Defense Ministry was looking for a supplier of missile systems in September.

The group also claims that Qatari officials were in talks with Ukroboronprom over supplies of S-125-2D Pechora-2D (NATO reporting name SA-3 Goa) in September at an international arms exhibition in Kiev.
There have been no official comments on the issue, and the documents uploaded by the hackers have not been verified.
CyberBerkut is a Ukrainian hacktivist group. The hackers have repeatedly targeted the websites of the Ukrainian government throughout 2014 as a reaction to the ongoing armed conflict in the country’s southeast.
The Pechora-2D is a surface-to-air missile system used to target aircraft and cruise missiles on low and medium altitudes.
