MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian defense companies will showcase more than 250 models of weapons and military equipment at the international exhibition Gulf Defense & Aerospace-2015 in Kuwait, scheduled for December 8-10, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) said in a statement Wednesday.
"Nine Russian organizations, including Rosoboronexport, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise 'Splav' and [KBP] Instrument Design Bureau will introduce their export offers under the auspices of the Russian state technology company Rostec. In total 250 units of military equipment will be on display," the statement reads.
According to FSMTC, more than 100 companies from 24 countries announced their participation in the exhibition this year.
Gulf & Aerospace-2015 Exhibition will be held for the third time under the patronage of the Defense Ministry of Kuwait and will showcase military equipment, including armored vehicles, air defense systems, anti-tank systems, military aircraft, helicopters and military shipbuilding.
