BELGRADE (Sputnik) – Switzerland is prepared to support international cooperation efforts to counter terrorism, Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter said on Thursday.
"The Ukraine crisis must remain a priority but now there are other pressing issues and violent terrorism is a threat that relates to us all. This year it is essential that we make progress on preventing violent extremism. Preventing violent extremism is a priority of the Swiss foreign policy. We are ready to support cooperating measures in the OSCE and beyond," Burkhalter said during an Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe at the foreign ministerial level meeting in Belgrade.
