“The President's team also affirmed that they had as of yet uncovered no indication the killers were part of an organized group or formed part of a broader terrorist cell,” the statement on the White House’s website said Saturday.
Evidence shows that the perpetrators were radicalized to violence to commit the attacks, according to the statement.
“The FBI added that, in coordination with local authorities, they are utilizing all necessary resources to pursue any and all leads in their terrorism investigation,” the statement said.
On Wednesday, a shooting at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino claimed lives of 14 people and injured 21 others. Police identified the shooters as US-born man of Pakistani origin Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik. The couple was killed in a shootout with police hours after the Wednesday attack.
