BLAGOVESHCHENSK (Amur Region), (Sputnik) – Motorized infantry troops worked out interoperability with artillery and air defense units in the field exercises at a training ground in the Russian Republic of Buryatia.
"Squads and crews performed live firing from T-72B3 tanks, BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, Sani mortars, AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers and RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenades," the district said.
The exercises included countering simulated attacks by enemy air forces and sabotage groups, as well as conducting engineering, radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance missions.
