MOSCOW (Sputnik) Alexander Mosesov — On Thursday, The Wall Street Journal, citing officials familiar with the situation, but speaking on conditions of anonymity, reported that thousands of illegal immigrants from the Central American states may be deported from the United States as early as January.
"The Libertarian Party welcomes all peaceful people to come to America to seek a better life. Spending taxpayer money on rounding up and deporting peaceful people who are here would be a foolish waste," Sarwark said.
The move of the US authorities is the reaction on a rapid increase in numbers of unaccompanied children and families from Central America, attempting to enter the United States illegally in recent months. The officials said that the aim of deportations was to show to potential undocumented migrants that they would not be allowed to stay in the United States.
